In March 2014, Russian troops occupied the Crimea. We could not remain silent. We decided to rename the existing Prague tram stop Krymská (“Crimean street”) to Ruská (“Russian street”). We then positioned posters at other stops to tell people of this change and called upon them to rescue Crimea. A Facebook campaign was shared by over 12,000 people in a few days, including marketing media and Czech TV news. Of course, we could not save Crimea, but at least we encouraged people to support an independent Ukraine.
